The official text indicates that the Neue Uniform was destined for all service branches of the Heer, with the exception of the Panzerwaffe who would keep their specific uniform in either black or feldgray. This new uniform was the final stage of the transformation of the german soldier,s field uniform, but it was not officially adopted until september 1944 and because of this it was issued until later on, and the defeat of Germany in the spring 1945 prevented its generalization.
